North Philadelphia Health System

North Philadelphia Health System (NPHS) consists of two hospitals located in the heart of North Philadelphia. These hospitals provide services to one of the most under-served communities in Philadelphia. NPHS is not only a healthcare provider, but is a major employer and economic anchor in North Philadelphia.

St. Joseph's Hospital (SJH), located on 16th Street and Girard Avenue, is a 146 bed acute care hospital.

Girard Medical Center (GMC), located on 8th Street and Girard Avenue, is a 168 bed long-term acute care hospital.
