SJH offers a wide range of acute care medical/surgical services including:
general acute medical/surgical services comprised of general medical/surgical, critical care, step-down critical care and telemetry; emergency services; clinical ancillary services; primary care and specialty clinics; and hospital-level drug & alcohol detoxification and rehabilitation services.

St. Joseph’s Hospital is a 227 bed acute care hospital licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and carries both the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and the American Osteopathic Association accreditation.
